Building E.L.I.T.E. on Social

My passion project, E.L.I.T.E., has been a journey of growth and discovery. While I’d love to dedicate hours each day to it, that isn’t realistic. Beyond E.L.I.T.E., I have a full-time job, a family, and a range of other responsibilities. However, I know the importance of social media for sharing my blog posts, podcast episodes, and updates with the community. Even though the blog goes up on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and the podcast drops every Monday, consistent reminders can make all the difference in reaching people.

With my busy schedule, though, it’s been challenging to remember to post on those early weekday mornings. Over the past month, I’ve tried to post on Instagram to coincide with each new blog or podcast release but the timing hasn’t always been there and several blogs and podcast were posted without coinciding social media content. This timing and inconsistency has been an ongoing challenge.

I thought I knew social media well since I’ve been on some form of social media for over 20 years but I discovered that Instagram offers different features based on account type—personal, business, or influencer. I also learned that to access all the capabilities, it’s essential to have both Instagram and Facebook accounts linked, thanks to Meta’s interconnected platform.

This led me to Facebook Business Suite, which allows seamless scheduling across both platforms. It’s been a game-changer! Now, I can spend part of my weekend prepping all my posts for the week, giving me peace of mind and freeing up my mornings. With just a few weeks of this new routine, I already feel empowered and more E.L.I.T.E. than ever.

As I dive deeper into using tools like sounds and stories, I’m excited to continue sharing my passion in new ways. Scheduling has been the key to fitting my E.L.I.T.E. goals into my life. I hope it makes it easier for you to stay connected with my journey.
