Curator of E.L.I.T.E.

The past two weeks have been a whirlwind of learning about podcasting. I dove in headfirst without much research, figuring I’d learn along the way. In a future post, I’ll dive deeper into the process, but it's far more intricate than I initially imagined. There are countless factors to consider: different microphones, headphones, software options, and decisions on where to record, edit, master, and host the podcast.

As I approached the final steps of publishing my first episode, I found myself filling out various fields—title, format, description, and author. Each of these fields required careful thought to ensure I got it right before sharing the podcast with the world. However, one field that really made me pause was "author." The obvious answer was Veronica Ann, but it felt impersonal. If someone scrolling through a podcast directory saw the name, it wouldn’t mean anything to them—and why should it?

I wanted something that represented more. As a co-founder of E.L.I.T.E., that title felt too formal for the tone I wanted to strike. I toyed with different terms like creator, innovator, owner, visionary, and author, but none quite captured what I was going for—they either felt too formal or too grandiose.

The word that resonated most with me was "curator." A curator is defined as a keeper or custodian of a collection, and that’s exactly how I see E.L.I.T.E.—a powerful concept that I guide, nurture, and help grow. It’s deeply personal, something I want to protect while also sharing with others so they can resonate with it and reach their own E.L.I.T.E. potential.

So, I am Veronica Ann, Curator of E.L.I.T.E.
